FS: Bespoke Tailor-made Woolen Jacket (Blazer), Black, EU52 (New!)

⛏ INFO ⛏
€50
+ shipping. PP / IBAN.

Fully bespoke & largely handstitched, the jacket was made by Bruno Marcon, a master tailor operating his private small tailoring workshop.

The exterior fabric is weighty 100% pure woolen finely brushed black flannel while the lining is high grade rayon and silk. 3-button front, notched lapels, chest welt pocket & jetted side pockets. Double vents on the back.

As you can see, all the hallmarks of the finest traditional tailoring, such as full pick-stitched edges, done by hand, hand-stitched lining, etc.

While visually it appears to be discretely structured, internal canvasing is actually quote robust, anchoring the outer wool beautifully. The shoulders are moderately structured, though perhaps slightly more than what would be considered characteristic of Italian tailoring, giving off a more formal silhouette. There's actually a traditional British vibe to it, in fact, so I don't have to be telling you how well it fits.

Functional cuffs it the only feature that would've improved it but since all tailor made jackets are made with such an alteration in mind, if desired, it's just a matter of personal preference, really.

In short, dead on 10/10 piece. Work of art.

rand new. Or to be more precise, unworn. This would've been my absolute favorite blazer ever but I can't help preferring more structured fabric. I don't know why, I just do. Maybe I should actually try wearing it but let's see first if someone here will find it entirely perfect as is (because how could anyone not).

⛏ SIZE AND FIT ⛏
T
he jacket fits close to the body (without any of that "slim fit" nonsense) while still retaining more than enough room for layers due to the sculped shape. There's an elongated, sleek look to it without it actually being overly long, which I personally find the most desirable feature in tailoring.

No size tag, naturally, but I'd say it corresponds to a fairly standard EU 52 Long or US/UK 42L.
  • Chest Width: 54 cm / 21.5 inches
  • Waist width: 52 cm / 20.5 inches
  • Shoulders (seam-to-seam): 46 cm / 18 inches
  • Sleeve length: approx. 69 cm / 27 inches
  • Back length (excl. collar): 81 cm / 32 inches

Gorgeous, sadly not my size. GLWS

Thank you! It is gorgeous.

I'm looking at the photos and how they fail to convey how beautiful this jacket actually is. Everything looks so underwhelming & bland - For example, wool appears gray and featureless while in reality, it is such a deep, Raven black color and so substantial & structured. But this is something I've noticed when it comes to photos of tailoring, how even the most premium brands can't seem to make their suits look better than the cheapest Zara.
