1950s Fidelity Horsehide Motorcycle Jacket – Size 40 – Excellent Condition 450 shipped.
Up for sale is a very clean mid-century motorcycle jacket produced by Fidelity Sportswear of Boston, Massachusetts, dating to the 1950s. A classic American asymmetrical motorcycle design constructed from sturdy horsehide with a striking red quilted lining.
Condition
Overall excellent condition for the era. The leather remains strong and supple with only light signs of age and wear. The bright red quilted lining is extremely clean and well preserved. Original zippers and snaps function properly. Pockets are intact and the size tag (40) remains crisp. One zipper pull is missing from the right pocket but the zipper itself works as intended.
This example appears to have been worn sparingly and stored well over the decades.
