The Buco J-24 is one of the most iconic motorcycle jackets ever produced. Originally introduced by Joseph Buegeleisen’s Buco brand in 1953, it helped define the classic double rider with a D-pocket and remains one of the most sought-after leather jacket designs ever made.
This is the highly sought-after Two Tone version (BJ22001), featuring contrasting black and white horsehide. Crafted from vegetable-tanned horsehide with a full aniline finish, the leather retains its natural grain and character while developing a beautiful vintage patina over time.
Made in Japan by The Real McCoy’s, this jacket is an exceptionally faithful reproduction, built with period-correct details and outstanding craftsmanship throughout.
Specifications:
Manufacturer measurements (Size 40):
The jacket is in excellent overall condition. All zippers operate smoothly and exactly as they should, and the quilted lining remains pristine with no tears, damage, or excessive signs of wear. The white horsehide has naturally developed a subtle patina over time, which is characteristic of aniline-finished leather and adds to the jacket’s vintage character.
The only reason I’m selling it is because I’ve lost a significant amount of weight and it has unfortunately become much too large for me. Otherwise, this is a jacket I would happily keep in my collection for many years to come.
Original retail price: 25,000 DKK. Selling for €2200 + shipping. Payment through PayPal FF
A rarely seen model, especially in the Two Tone configuration. An exceptional opportunity to own one of The Real McCoy’s finest reproductions of the legendary Buco J-24.
