For sale is a superb and amazingly well preserved original Fried Ostermann M422a. Contract no. 1406a.
I picked this up last year, but it’s only been in the closet. I think the condition is simply amazing on this jacket, but have a look at the photos and ask any questions. The grain is really good on this one, the leather is still supple. Knits are original and have a few small areas but are still elastic. The Talon zipper works perfectly and it has a unique zipper pull artifact, presumably from the original owner. Even the lining is really nicely preserved. Not very many out there like this anymore I’d guess.
I’m including a very nice garment bag from History Preservation Associates to protect the jacket from here on out.
Measurements are in the pics. I’d say it fits like a trim 40.
