Howdy All,
I am selling my Bill Kelso Grizzly jacket in a stock size 42.
This is the jacket featured on the BK website. I contacted the company and commissioned the Grizzly, which resulted in them adding it to their line and using photos of this jacket for promo photos.
I absolutely love this jacket and it pains me to sell it, but I need to come to terms with the fact that I will probably never fit this jacket again. It cost me $2000+ new and a grueling 15 month wait, which makes it extra sad to let it go.
I’ve worn it regularly as my daily jacket for about a year and a half, until I put on about 20lb and nothing I do seems to take it off again….old timers warned me to size up in preparation for later years….I wish I had listened. I really wanted this to be my forever jacket, and it would have been if it were larger.
The jacket is developing some really great patina, the leather and mouton is just exquisite. The mouton is softer than any other I’ve encountered, I was told it was original 1940s mouton which I believe because really does look like the jacket fell right out of an old photo.
There are two small spots in the lining down at the bottom front which are fraying due to wearing on my belt buckle, but those would be easy repairs. Some minor scuffs and patina on the leather throughout, which in my opinion look great.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me and I’d be glad to help the best I can.
