Bill Kelso Grizzly (42)

For sale is a superb and well broken in Grizzly jacket by Bill Kelso, in true-to-size 42.

Made from horsehide with super soft mouton panels, this jacket looks like it stepped right out of the 1930’s.

This one has lots of small details that make it particularly special. A smooth running hookless zipper, vintage Japanese buckle, soft wool tartan lining with leather patches at the underarms, cat eye buttons, and of course the really spectacular and soft brown sheepskin panels that may actually be vintage.

I bought this from Xopher over the summer, and he put some real miles on this jacket. I’ve worn it out twice now, less than 3 hours in total.

I don’t think there is a nicer Grizzly out there at any price, new or vintage.

Note: this is the actual jacket that Bill Kelso features online for their Grizzly model. Apparently they added it to their lineup after Xopher’s custom order.
