I’m really wanting boots that I can wear with cargos ,casual and dress pants. I kind of like the engineer boots.

Current boot lineup:

Rolling Dub Trio / Chippewa / White's

5 years old / 3 years / 7 years

[The White's got a lot of wear for about 4 or 5 years, but they really are too big for me and I've sort of stopped wearing them very often. RDT got good wear before the Covid, but less since. The Chippewas get lots of wear, including as motorcycle boots.]

Very very cool! Can't wait to read your take and how the leather compare to other boots you have. I may want to dabble in one of these shinki shell boots for a MTO soon.

The Shinki shell looks great. Not as rich in color as the Ogawa though.

Or if you like brogues then check Tricker's, model Stow, though I think you won't find a burgundy colour.

I am a big fan of the Stow boots by Trickers - they are great quality and v versatile - they currently have a sale on at present if you check out their website - some Stows on offer in kudu, which are close to burgundy and go well with leather jackets imo….here are a pair of mine in a paler acorn colour if you want to get a sense of the styling

Never seen this model before. Seems quite bulky so I'd say a 4444 last but you never know!

Congrats on finally getting these. The dye job on that looks immaculate and the grains on that leather is so fine, very expertly made and the fact that it's a perfect fit just makes it even better.
