Thanks for the link, I’d be looking for a pair in black if I can find them. I’ll keep a look out. Cheers.
Jin,Love this. Thanks for sharing. Which soles are better the half or full soles?
I’m really looking at the Mr Lou’s (or possibly the Boss in Tan). Any pics on foot or thoughts you’d share? Searched the thread and didn’t see any other posts about them
Edit: whoops had a fragment of a username in the search bar messing up results. Still combing through all the results.
Jin,
I think I prefer the full sole. The half sole definitely looks very cool but I like the bit of extra cushion you get from two layers of rubber at the heel on the full sole. I also think it is more durable because the backside of the front half sole is glued and nailed down but I think sooner or later it will begin to peel up.
Trumans look great! I keep missing these every time they’re available. Are yours the C-55 or P-79 last?View attachment 289372
I should have taken better pictures but here's my Truman service boots in black horse rump.

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. No turning back now lol. Once they break in and form to your foot they are very comfortable. It has taken some time but my farmer ranchers on the 55 last and mp boots are getting comfortableFirst venture into the PNW makers: whites bounty hunters in brown dress bought through Baker’s

Is the shaft narrower like the Mr.Lou's for Domain 7400 and BritishTan 7500 ?Here you go @Mrfrown, a side by side photo of the boots:

On the left are the Mr. Lou’s, in the middle the brown domain 7400’s, and on the right the British Tan 7500’s.
The 7400 has the widest shaft of the three boots and the Mr. Lou is the tightest. The 7500 is a bit looser than the Mr. Lou but not much.Is the shaft narrower like the Mr.Lou's for Domain 7400 and BritishTan 7500 ?
White’s often have that issue with the lacing area. They’ve actually started offering an option for closing that up — called I think “open instep”..?They look a bit tight across the tongue, were you trying them out with thicker socks or a looser lacing to help with the break in?
brown dress is a such a great leather. In retrospect I sorta wish I had gotten Horsehide for my black pair of Semi Dress, but I’m still very happy.
Congrats on the new venture!
