Footwear to go with our jackets

I did start this thread because I needed advice on what shoes to get that would fit the jackets, I am currently at this stage

Western boots with 70s jacket

I would say that very different hides are also a way to avoid being too matched, what do you guys think?

Green and vintage black from Brass Tokyo

I think the roam trainers from Brass Tokyo are also a good option, the colour on these was my custom choice

A mix of browns here, these are the Kadoya riding chelsea

Damn your thedi looks cool. So does the east west, and all the others. All great outfits!

I think the burgundy of the east west would also look great with a pair of black boots.

I actually have a pair of Dayton service boots in pull-up cordo that perfectly match the jacket, though I’ve never worn them together.

I definitely won't ever click on it out of fear the photo of those black and white fancy shoes will pop up. Y'know, the ones with holes and ridiculous ornaments and... Ugh.

Yes, indeed and is also very variable, showing a nice range of tones, depending on light.

I think you make a good point here. I used to perfectly match my leathers. I wouldn't wear a pair of shoes or boots if I didn't have a perfectly matching belt. I even matched my duffle bags, watch strap, bill fold and what have you. A couple of years ago I realized my outfits were too much polished. Too much perfection. Now I like to mix and match a bit more. Of course I'd never wear black shoes with a brown jacket but seal brown boots with a russet brown jacket can make a great, playful outfit. I think the Italians actually have a word for it: 'sprezzatura'.

Does not the General Attire & Accouterments forum have enough boot and shoe threads for the gentlemen and ladies who hang there? IMO, if someone has a burning desire to see footwear matched with jackets they can come over to the outerwear forum.

White walls look nice but it's impossible to keep them clean. Had to take the moped to the car wash every week...

@dudewuttheheck I agree you look sharp with a well put together style and other of you are not far behind. Most of my jackets are vintage and show patina, more of a working man's jacket look. I start the day with a two-mile walk with my dogs on trails or the beach. I rotate between two pairs of Whites Bounty Hunters one 8 years and one 6 years old. I am retired and after the walk, I spend time working in my garden. With the shut down I do not get out much so my 10 pair of vintage cowboy boots and newer Whites most sit in the closet. I do keep my boots clean and oiled
