Yeah, although I would still like to go at the physical one :)
You should. This online one is too soon and too small in scale. RM is just selling off the very few leftovers from the Winter 2019 and Spring 2020 Inazuma. You usually see racks of jackets not to mention boots and accessories in the RM physical booth. The only new stuffs are the Hawaiian shirts RM is very anxious to get rid of for obvious reason. There is usually a big Vanson and Schott booths but for this online event, Vanson is only selling the MIC tees in lucky bags.
The only highlight for us is I won a White's boots tee and my friend won an Attractions watch in the lucky draw because we can finally fill in the lucky draw form online with the help of Google translate:D. We have never taken part in the lucky draw at the physical ones since we were always too busy to find help to complete the form.

Happens rarely but when you win something worthwhile, it is really nice :D
Not sure when next I am in Tokyo with the current situation, we'll see... I still have a fitting for jacket waiting me there.

The tee isn't even my size. It is just funny cos I received a call from Lightning telling me I won the tee so I went back to check the online streaming on Youtube and a couple of minutes later the Lightning guy was saying something like Hong Kong again. I did not know it was my friend who won almost right after me until he called me a few minutes later telling me Lightning called saying he won something but he could not understand what he won I was LMAO and told him he won the watch.

A "proper" West Australian "winter" shot today. Blue skies to the horizon with a reasonable easterly.
Taken at Trigg surfbeach. there were quite a few in today , some in the backdrop. Wee boys in swimtrunks in too !
That means a cool wind from the desert which is only maybe 350 K's inland from Perth. 5C to 19C swing today.
Jacket of choice today my Simmons Bilt Nebraska in black goat. Desert boots are Australian made Rossi "Sahara".
Jeans are Australian made Levi 505 button fly "dad" jeans.

Rain until next Tuesday is the forecast as of tomorrow arvo. yes I know , "not really a WINTER" but it sure feels like it !

Boots are Lucchese Classic Ostrich heeled Western boots. 15 years old. " Shop demos" when purchased.

Is anyone here how owns shoes/boots from Feit? Quality/construction/material seems to be top notch and the boots are fully hand welted in the US. Are they as good as Vibergs from quality point of view? I really dig following boots made of brown cowhide for next Autumn/Winter even if I know that they are massive:

What is the difference between hand welted shoes and machine welted shoes? Is there a structural difference, or is it purely cosmetic? If I'm correct, hand welting allows for a higher stitch count. This is a closeup of an Edward Green boot which is handwelted using a pigs bristle:

This is a crockett and Jones derby which is welted using a machine:

I can't see u huge difference to be honest.

Machine welted church's

In this case, the church have a lower stitch count than the EG'S.

Or am I totally wrong and has handwelting nothing to do with stitchcount per inch?

Must be an extremely more timeconsuming process. Even when you see skilled craftsmen do it it looks extremely laborous.

purely from your photo comparison, seems like with handwelting it can get closer partially more hidden under the upper perhaps? in some countries where wage is cheaper than investing in machinery, hand welting is just that.
