Back in the day the Edmonton Canadian football club had a fieldgoal kicker that wore a boot like this on his kicking foot. He was an old school, straight on kicker and would toe punch the ball...one of the best in league history.

I love the design of these. I have a pair of Cat boot somewhere that have a similar lace-to-toe setup, I find i very cool.

I tried a sample in the shop in Tokyo, it's their vintage black cowhide that has green undertones that I tried to show

Just picked up a pair of Beckman’s at my local Red Wing store. Surprised that I went down a half size for a good fit. I plan to wear them with my Schott Storm.
