Fit Check: Buzz Rickson N-1 Non-Stenciled Demotex-ed

Hey everybody,

My Buzz Rickson N-1 arrived from HPA. I feel like the overall fit is solid for a N-1 jacket, but it does feel like the arm holes are digging into my armpits a bit. It's nothing that will make me hate the the jacket, but I'm curious about your thoughts on a) the overall fit, b) if sizing up might saddle me with a jacket that is too big, and c) do the sleeves look weird with the current armhole placement?

fwiw, my pike bros and my buzz rickson N-1's give me the same feeling in the armpits. my RMC less so.

I agree on the RMC. I posted some pics recently, and it is a bit roomier. I've tried the IH N-1, which is a much more "modern" fit and smaller all around, but I didn't notice any issues with the armholes. However, my IH A-2 has a similar armpit issue as the BR. Regardless, the BR seems like a great jacket, and it isn't bothersome enough that I'll never I'll never wear the jacket.

The problem is that the armholes are still tight.
So it's uncomfortable to even raise my arms and touch hair.

It also warps the innerwear.
It's warm and cool, but it's on the selling.

I really like the color of the jacket you have there. That's unfortunate it doesn't work for you.

I'm still in the return window with mine. I really like the color and style of the jacket, but I'm concerned that it'll be too bulky and too long if I size up.
