anyone else feel like things are just getting crazy expensive now? I have more spending power than I've ever had in my life but I feel like the jackets and boots and stuff are getting more out of reach lol

As a broad trend over the long term you’re right, but that doesn’t really apply to the examples he’s mentioned there. Quality English-made boots, for example, have absolutely rocketed in price over the last few years for a variety of reasons.

Although this pricing might be a bit ambitious, I've always thought vintage Bates jackets are typically under the radar and under appreciated.

Right, so I know there's an entire sub-forum devoted to this but... Not only do I constantly keep forgetting about it (and I don't think I'm alone on this) but since it's intended for general vintage finds of all kinds, there's just too many stuff to browse through - so - how about a thread dedicated only to good deals on leather jackets?

eBay, Etsy, Grailed, etc. - anything goes as long as the listings aren't yours.

I just picked up one of these, and its a nice discount from the Schott 370/371/375 roughouts. It is a modification of the 375 with a contrast collar like the 371. Got the saddle version, though the olive is especially nice.
