Unfortunately sold. I have not seen a Kit Karson like that, ever. Wow. Hopefully someone here got it. Or it could show up in Japan for 5x. PS - It was a Kit Carson, before they were forced to change it to Kit Karson for copyright reasons. My only consolation is that it was way too big for me.

I am sure as a massive company they couldn't really care less but you'd think Levi's would be smart to try and actually re-release the real thing considering there's clearly a market for it. Would love to get a chance to see it myself but no way is the original worth $1k+.

Would also love to find the real deal matchless one but oh well.

It’s not a style that appeals to me and I’ve read (on this forum) that the pattern and quality is not good. I do wonder what sort of following it would’ve had if it wasn’t shown in that film.

I own the Royale version of the Marchless, after having handled the original and I prefer the repro! The suede is more robust and less flimsy/thin/soft, it doesn’t have branding on the sleeve and I prefer not having collar hooks to get in the way.

Posting two Rainbow Country jackets below that caught my eye. I think both are worth considering for anyone who likes Shinki leather. From my experience, RC's tobacco brown and black leathers are great (whereas the seal brown and red brown are stiffer and less comfy).

This is the older pattern with the layered front pockets. I was tempted to buy it myself but I already have the newer "Spider" jacket (plus the dollar-to-yen exchange rate is nowhere as good as last year). It isn't as attractive as the All-State, but I like the collar and RC's wool linings are high quality.

Interesting! Would love to see pics of the Royale jacket, only now learning about this company but good to know their stuff is solid quality.

At first I wondered if it was a women’s jacket but the zipper appears to be male correct and the size 44. And the coin pocket placement seems different.

Dunno anything about the maker but I don’t think I’ve seen that positioning on a biker jacket, assumed it was left handed ‍
