I now this; California Sportswear Co. made the jacket in steerhide in the 1950s. The Palm Tree, made in California logo, are CSC. They were one the 3 major suppliers of leather outerwear for Sears. CSC began making leather jackets in the mid 1930. Leather Sportswear is all they did.

They are typically a quality jacket,
Thank you @tmitchell59, it's a cool piece and to have survived the way it has I'm guessing the hide is quality.

And we found a whole Langlitz outfit! Size ~ 44L jacket, 36 waist pants, glove & hat and even a snap-on fur collar for the jacket! $1500 BIN or offer If my closet was not full I would probably snap this up.

Due to the fact it is custom made it is hard to determine a size.

Belt - 38

Gloves - Large (goat skin)

Hat - SM/MED

I took as many pictures as i could and measured as much as i could and am happy to send more.

Beautiful condition. Rarely worn. Well taken care of.

That’s got to be one heavy jacket. The listing has it at 5oz HH. Which typically LW is around 4oz give or take. But hey they’ve pushed 5 before. Plus that lining. So warm; yet so heavy. It’s definitely badass though.
Absolutely! For the right person, that would be a heck of a deal especially with the price of a new Trojan, which the belt & lining would cost extra on.
