a little long, for the size imo. I figure maybe stuart will adjust his chest and shoulders but not necessarily tweak the full length and sleeves. You'd have to be ultra slim, small chest, but 5'10+ for it to look right I bet.

Japan's e-commerce makes it pretty hard to buy from elsewhere, and a proxy service is a site that just allows you to buy from Japanese sites from abroad for a small fee/and minor learning curve of navigating them. If you know what a VPN is, think of it like a VPN for e-commerce.
There's some in-depth guides on reddit comparing sites but from what I can tell buyee seems to be well liked and the fees are very minimal. Generally speaking buyers and shippers seem to be very communicative and easy to deal with as well.
it is a company that buys and ships items to you for a nominal fee. unlikely to accept returns except in egregious situations or shipping damage.
the resellers are doing the same thing on ebay basically, but at a much higher price because ebay kills you on fees and they are obligated to follow ebay return policies etc.

This is the original of the Freewheelers brakeman. I have not seen one for sale in several years. This jacket is in a larger size. Given the jacket could be 100 years old it appears to be in quite nice condition. This example, with the belted back , was probably made by Shanhouse in Rockford, Illinois. The Freewheelers omits the back belt on their model.
I've owned this one for several years and can now wear it. I also have a Freewheelers Brakeman. They have the same fit. No doubt they had access to several originals.
In the ebay sale they mention a loose shoulder seam like on my jacket. That is interesting.
