This seller seemed quite suspect to me. Confident that it’s a Star Glove with no label. I sent a question or two after the jacket was posted and the price immediately went up 300 dollars.

Nice Jacket. Is that a new mouton collar on that jacket? I will be making some for my black j23. I got some LW HH from Stu. However, I will making my collars based on the original buco pattern. I will post when I get around to it.

This is my jacket! Hmm.. well I usually use USPS priority mail with a 20” x 14” x 10” box (to keep from creasing/folding jackets too much) which at the high end is $77 for shipping (it’s a sliding scale based on location).

I just adjusted for USPS Ground Advantage (slower service) and can use a 15” x 12” x 10” box which dramatically reduces the price for those far from CA.

Alternatively, I am happy to deal through TFL for a better price if anyone is interested.

SG was around from 20s to the 40s. Morphed into Cal in the later 40s. But yes, that looks like a Cal. And not a particularly early one.

What sewing machine do you use?

I have several industrial machines. However, my work horse are consew rb206-2 and consew 225. I am also trying to get the consew 227r.

Cool 50's or 60's Schott Dur-O-Jak highway patrol jacket (looks like a 602). Has some nice patina and is selling for pretty cheap IMO.

Looks like a 60s Cal CHP crosszip. Seems like it's in pretty good condition. Not much for measurements besides the length from collar to sleeve, which is a weird choice.

Excellent quality jacket. I don't know much about the manufacturer, but it appears they were only around in the 1980's. Beautiful, quality leather. Quilted lining. Appears to have been worn very little.

Does anyone know anything about 'Jack Anthony's Leathers' from Peabody MA?

I pulled the trigger on this jacket because it appeared to be fairly high quality and in good condition from the photos, but I can't find jack shit on this company. Reminds me a bit of a Vanson jacket with the brass hardware.
Haven't received it yet but may add more photos once it gets here. Any input? Think I got a decent deal on it? only thing that looks a little weird to me is how the sleeves wrinkle at the shoulder seams but it could just be the way it's hanging

I got the jacket today. Very well made, heavy jacket. Almost perfect condition besides a small scuff on the left shoulder.
Unfortunately just a little small on me. If anyone is interested I would be willing to let it go for what I paid ($162.60) plus shipping. Can take some photos of it if interested

That is really nice, wish it were in my size! I handled Flat Head deerskin few years worn product, it was shocking how soft it was. I couldn't believe it!
