Juanito, Just remove them. Not so very hard. The fast way to resew the panel is by machine or by hand. If you do not want to see the repair on the lining, remove the bottom lining, repair by hand and resew the bottom lining. One hour job tops. Not that difficult. The ugly way is to cut it neatly of course.
That is way beyond my abilities, or inclinations.
I'm not handy, at all, so a project like that isn't even remotely a possibility for me. I do, however, admire those of you who are capable of such things.
Chest measurements seem oddly small compared to arm and shoulder. Maybe bad measurement or the gussets allow for more room?

The gussets on the back are huge, and they do allow a lot of room. California Creations jackets are cut slim for their tagged size. You really can't size down in them, but if you get your measured size, you'll find it fits pretty well, with good comfort and mobility.
