I had a Cal LAPD in this leather. It's different than anything else I'd ever had from them. Almost matte Grey and insanely thick. A legit 5oz hide. It was the nicest motorcycle jacket I've ever owned.

What a beauty! bidding all ready moving quickly up. Steerhide was very popular with RP, this label was first used in 1938 in a style to celebrate the building of the Golden Gate bridge. This jacket is from early WWII with the V zipper, c.1941. The lining is seen in other RP jackets from this time.
