Sold for $76 with $11 shipping. That's just silly.

I don’t know why these Kehoe jackets are so cheap! The brown ones may not be the same amazing leather as the black ones, but they are equal to Brooks in hide quality. The design and build surpass Brooks IMHO. Truly a steal if you can get them under $100 (and you can). The common problem is that some sellers can’t find the size tag (it is in a pocket) and tend to advertise them incorrectly.
I sometimes wonder if certain people steer away from certain brands because they aren't priced at $300. I've posted a number of Kehoe's over the past year and from what I recall, not much interest was generated. A wonderful thing about leather jackets is that lower price range doesn't necessarily equal "cheap."

I have been aware of Kehoe CRs for years. The big kidney panel is what turns me off on these CRs. Just a personal preference. Otherwise great jackets.

Anybody know the maker here?

Could it be Reed? Seems the same as this, except that the side gussets are "split":

Just bought this jacket. Surprisingly the size 36 looks like it's going to work for me. Thanks for sharing it on here.
I'm glad you did, what a gem. Congrats!

All it needs is a replacement beltloop but that's an easy fix.

Congrats! Welcome to the Kit Karson Club! It does look like a fairly large 36, hope it fits perfectly. Once you get it, let's start a dedicated Kit Karson thread (Marc's original idea)!
I don’t know, usually vintage jackets in 36 are way big for me. This one is listed as having 16” shoulders and a 23” sleeve which should fit me. It has a 21” chest which is a little large for me. Anyway if it doesn’t fit, I’ll offer it up here.

Follow up about a Durable I had kept my eye on….I did not win the bidding. I was willing to go to about 450 as it looked in good-great shape leather and liner wise, and it’s a Durable the most perfect version of a perfecto. But it also had a zipper that needed replacing and possibly some stitching that was fine for now but you know 60 years old. So would need decent money put into it eventually. And it sold for over 1,000. If I had to have it, or it was it my grail jacket, or whatever than maybe but way too rich for my blood.

I was also looking at that Durable and was thinking I’ll throw my hat in the ring but I knew that just for the name alone it would end up going for stupid money so I passed on it.

I know we are kind of the same size so I’ll sell you the Kit Karson I just bought if it doesn’t fit. The Kit Karson has a much nicer shape to the collar anyway.

Well fingers crossed it does fit you perfectly. Really cool jacket…..but also super nice gesture let’s talk if and when that happens ha.

But yeah I mean it’s in a rare size, it was in very good shape, and it’s a Durable. I knew it would go for a decent price. But considering it had some spots the thread looked not frayed or broken but definitely on its last legs and the broken zipper….I just couldn’t justify putting more than 500 on it cause I’d definitely be putting in another 200-300 into it in short order. Just not for me. As was mentioned looked like it went to a pro that’s either an actual collector or going to see it relisted soon or for sale at some vintage shop.

I’ve got my eyes on a size 36 Aero jacket. I’ve owned an Aero but not one of their biker jackets. It was a halfbelt and those I decided are just not my style. It was listed for like 400-500 and didn’t sell. It’s back up with starting offer at 405…I messaged the seller and he said bottom line was negotiable a bit. Which I know Aeros are not the worlds greatest built and many including Ivan who’s actively telling me the cut is uncomfortable. I still want to give them a try. I eventually would love to try all the major makers. If I could get it for like 300-350 then I could resell for 400 and not feel bad. Just not sure if I should based on what I know. Or maybe I should wait to see what happens with your Kit….or I should save my money and not drive my wife crazy ha.

Total steal
Schott per70

Short time left

Going to bid on this one if it stays low. I’ve seen a number of Per70 jackets go relatively cheap. I wonder why they don’t hold their value that well.
