One of the coolest Canadian jackets I've seen. Sooooo of course, it has to be tiny :(

Wow! Amazing jacket.

It’s a preference thing, that kind of back has always looked too busy for me though.

I would probably go with a back that was a bit less busy, but if the new owner fills this jacket well, he will look and feel like a powerful peacock. Or a beautiful hand fan.

Not too shabby.

Ha yes!

I do love big, bright floral and aloha stuff...maybe I’m more in line with the Powerful Peacock than I really thought

That's typical for post war German jackets right, those braided epaulets?

The braided epaulettes go back as far as pre-WWII. Not sure about the two-tone variety, it may or may not be a post-WWII thing. German moto jacket designs were always on the playful side, so probably not. Here's an older one dated by the DRP Nurnberg 'zipp' zip. It was probably part of a combination as there are loops attached to the liner near the armhole for hanging the trousers.

pre-1944 (DE) German aviator DB zip frontbelted by Tonn of Rosenheim, steerhide, 23.5" back
