For all you crown sprung nuts...here’s a nice original HH langlitz. I dunno, buy this or an HD Sporty?

I hadn’t noticed that. Good eye! To me that looks a bit crude/unfinished.That price took me by surprise! That's pretty steep.
It's interesting that the interior seam at the bottom of the kidney panel was different back then, you can see that one of the layers of leather is left long and folded over rather then under like they do now. Leaving a 1/2" leather flap with a visible cut edge on all the bottom of the kidney panel. (pic 8)
I wonder when a detail like that became a problem for customers and when they decided to change it to how they currently do it.
These early 90's jackets are HUUUGE. But maybe this particular line runs small, though I don't think so. One I bought from @tmitchell59 was M and it had 23" P2P.
Another crazy cool Lee Trevor, their label sizing is just plain crazy and part is just the way they make the jackets.
They do make some interesting jackets, just watch the size
I kept this one and marked a Medium.
The @Monitor jacket was marked a XL.
Love that! Shame about the size. Price is great.Well done reproduction--mostly Wool but a little leather to make it worthy of this thread......... price seems good too

The eBay listing seems to be removed, but I think I also saw this jacket on a Dutch online marketplace :Here's an interesting Sportclad:

At first glance it looks like an Indian Ranger, but it has a "stitched" D-pocket.

Each of these late 40s Sportclads have the same beautiful leather. Here is a like new one to compare to this broken in beauty.
Terry, is there a throat tab under the collar?
