I don't understand the fuss about the leather shirt. It's just a longer jacket. I wear mine all the time, nobody really even notices.
Nicest Chopper I've ever seen in a leather that seems unusual for Vanson. I can tell this one's going to be something else. How the ef do you get something like that as a gift, anyway?
@Carlos840 , sell yours and get this bad boi as a replacement. @JMax , would it work for you too?

This is the Paul Cox/Vanson collab, the Berserker. Mine is too. It’s a Chopper with some subtle and not so subtle tweaks.
This is what you need. I’ll proxy. Do it. Start off 2021 the right way.
Earliest numbered model Vanson C2. 3 digit code. So probably 1984. Not sure when the "good" leather first started being used.
Separately I found out my 50k numbered Enfield was made late 2000. The newest ones for reference are 80k. So if you're looking for 90's leather, probably 40-50k number. It's not foolproof system, but gives you a good guide.

The most expensive is a scam - hoping you’ll bite and he’ll then buy the other for the lower price and ship to you. If the cheaper one has sold you’ll be refunded.find this jacket is listed in Jpan by two different sellers using the same picture one is listed at 736 and one at 1300

Yes, they often use that Japanese term 神経質 and when translated it becomes "nervous people". The term in this context means people with concerns or OCD.^^ This is great: "The making is not a delicate one made in Japan but a rough one made in the United States, so it may not be suitable for nervous people."
Perhaps we on FL are not named as nervous people as per this description.
I don't remember if I have mentioned this before. When looking at items on Yahoo Auction JP and you see that there is a VAT on the bid price, it means it is from a registered shop. If that happens, you can try to search for the same item on Rakuten and since Rakuten is not an auction site, you may be able to buy that item right away thru proxy at the Rakuten price which is most likely the same as the opening bid on Yahoo. That is a good way to skip the auction process thereby saving time and money.I have purchased 6 jackets on yahoo Japan auctions using buyee. I used DHL on all the jackets. I also purchased a Japanese leather jacket book. The cost of shipping the book is the same as a jacket. I've paid around 55 average for DHL shipping. I've paid no attention to the weight of the jackets. None of the jackets I purchased were Lost World weight.
Japan Post is not delivering to USA so the only reliable choice is DHL. I warn against using any of the other services. I chose the cheaper option for the book and it will probably take 30 days. I would not risk that on a leather jacket.
DHL is very fast if that helps. Remember it cost $22 to ship a large USPS priority box in CONUS.
I’ve always like this vtg Golden Bear...
