Beautiful 1938 sample with lots of French and beautiful back. The jacket was made with many extras you hardly see later in the 40s. Not my size, but the price is a little over my pay grade.

I was thinking the area would need to be cut out and then a patch sewn in. It definitely appears that the top coat was pulled off at a minimum.

This is 1941, not 38. Made out of cowhide.

Here’s mine. Zipper confirms the year.

I believe mine is made by a different maker than the eBay jacket.
