To me this reads that for auctions they’ll apply it to your first bid only and you have to reapply the coupon each time you put a bid in, but I could be wrong.

The discount limit for these coupons is only up to ~$340. Nice but I’ve seen these 20% coupons that don’t have any limit too.

The 20% and weak Yen was just too good to pass up so I just bought something. The 20% coupon worked. It was an “auction” but with a buyout option only.

@jeo, can you confirm yours ultimately went through? I tried to place a buyout order exactly the same but it was refunded and had an error saying I was outbid.

Some sellers refuse to sell / ship to proxies. I’ve had this happen to me a few times from sellers on both Yahoo and Mercari. It sucks but happens.

yeah, this is a seller I've bought from before tho and usually it will have a warning.

Yes the 20% coupon went through on a “buyout” auction. Not sure how to confirm besides taking screenshots which I will not post here, but I will PM them to you to confirm.

I tried using the 20% JP Yahoo Auction coupon on buyee with the “snipe it now” button. It didn’t work and my PayPal was charged an extra $12. Small price for the lesson learned, but I should have just bidded myself, as I was the only bidder.

I wonder how the sites fund all these coupons, if it's just a marketing budget. I know they skim a little from the currency conversion and then I guess the official partners might get a cut from the merchant sites.
