The price is ok but the repair will cost more than $2 Benjamins.
EASILY two Bens especially if trying to bring it back w true age appropriate hardware. Just to do the main zip with a period correct NOS zipper plus installation costs will be $100-125 (CZs are usually on the high end) for the install and likely yer lookin at about $100 for a proper period correct zip. This is to say nothing of the sleeve zip and the snaps. Although the snaps really would be more of A SNAP to fix.

I don't think fully restoring it pencils out. Could still be a cool knock around jacket and the hide has plenty of character (I love the backs on these) but that broken main is tragic. I could live with the other issues if the main was intact and functioning. Maybe someone can throw an offer???

Those Conmars are almost impossible to find. Talon on the sleeve is not as hard to find.
Yep.

The best you could do to save some coin would be to shift to a Talon main that is a later year and thus easier to find. (tho not inexpensive)....... but it sure would be cool to try to salvage that Conmar somehow since the pull is there and seems issue free on that pull side. I know there are some Loungers who could probably do the tailoring themselves and make this jacket work without breaking the bank.
