Finally got a size 48 A2 that fits very well without custom ordering...

From his previous thread stating he returned the jackets... the duplicity is tiresome.

Update:
GW DuBow jacket was too tight and returned
Aero jacket was too small in shoulders and returned
Eastman jacket was cut almost in half by customs inspector and returned to sender

all these jackets were very nice and if had fit would have be retained.

LW stated their jacket measured 1 inch less than my measured size and I needed to order it to see if it would fit. yea right....

The search goes on......maybe a used one will pop up that I WILL PAY TO ALTER...

Some stuff gets old quicker than others, agreed.

It's nice when people find a good fit garment. Pics in addition to exciting deal-tales would be a great trade-off...

That wasn't the point, I say the same things over and over as much as the next guy. Louis just finished a rant on how he never returns jackets.

No, I definitely meant duplicity... He tell us one thing one day and then, emphatically, the exact opposite the next. He never returns jackets, he sold them at a profit to finance this new jacket, when just days ago he updated us to inform he had returned said jackets.

In addition to the very nice fitting Rough Wear ELC jacket in this thread, I am currently looking at 3 more non A2 size 48 jackets that are being offered to me right now, two are HH one steerhide. I will post pics of them if I buy.

FYI: Here is a reference copied from the Schott website to the condition and quality of my stuff when I directly, have the time to resell them.

Just got off the telephone with Aero in Scotland.

Both my Anj3 and Thunderbay jackets repairs and alterations are complete and the jackets are being returned to me..... DC auth n/c shipping both ways.....:eusa_clap


FYI Aero sizes that fit me: in all 1950s models 48, in all military cut and 1920s models 50 w/waist and belts taken in 3 inches
