The ties are now available for purchase... sorry about the delay.

Yes, there was an issue updating my domain name... another problem coming from my vacation. Hopefully all will be back to normal in a couple of days. In the meantime, you can access the site via the long annoying address, or cheat using this handy subdomain: http://clothiers.indyprops.com

Kind regards,
Indy

t looks like style A has the clear lead.

So, the next thing to discuss is the presence or absence of the logo.

Here are the options:

a) No logo at all
b) Logo centered low
c) Logo centered high (visible with jacket/vest closed)
d) Logo at lower right
e) Logos subtly woven into silk on the black bars

Thanks,
Indy

Indy Magnoli's rules on the poll:

*Please only vote if you are interested in purchasing a tie.

Also, the poll is public, so people can see what you have chosen.

So, folks, what do you think?

Since style A (in the previous poll) was in the lead as far as color, we'll be moving forward with this design for now. After this run, if MK doesn't mind multiple "club ties" then perhaps we could do a run of a neat pattern, or something else.

Kind regards,
Indy

No logo makes it look like you bought it at any old store, and it doesn't seem unique or special.

You'll know where you got it and what it represents, as will any other FL members you meet; what more do you need? If you want a tie that advertises its uniqueness, buy one with Coke bottles or a pin-up girl on it.

I'm in favour of no logo. Largely because it has that "in the know" exclusivity. But largely because, with no logo, you can wear the lapel pin as a tie pin without fear of logo overkill ;)

As a newbie, but one who would very much intend to purchase one of these ties, I have a tough time choosing. E is right out for me - I don't like too many logos. Otherwise, a subtle little logo has an appeal (I think I voted C in the end), though the more I think about it the more I think that the front leader, A, has a certain sophistication - were'nt club ties / old school ties / regimental ties always logo-less, recognisable only to the cognescenti? Seems to me that that would be the more period-correct choice at that rate.
