I have a beautiful Parker Julep, in rabbit, which I think is beautiful.

Just curious can ayone compare the two hats?

Where's my Hat... ? in Upstate NY!
I co-designed the Fat Tuesday Bowlerman I believe did the virtuoso

I like them both, while I don't own a Bone hat YET... It's on the wish list and I've grown my confidence and will now wear what I wish too. I recall being leery of wide brims and now i'm hooked :) how was the quality of the lid?
I have some hats coming back, one just getting sweatband replaced, and another getting ribbon treatment work. Thinking of getting my first custom from Parker too. Not sure yet about felt color, thinking Pecan or Brownish family.

Yep. I've definitely seen some of those hats around the lounge, and not just from my closet. I love Parker's work and he's a great guy.
I had a designing hand in the Virtuoso, and I'm psyched to see my black cherry lord's hat has a nickname too. the "Laird." :eusa_clap

I have to say those two are my favorite FPH hats bowlerman, especially the uniqueness of the "Laird!" Now if I can only talk my wife into letting me buy another hat. Is it really easier to ask for forgiveness than permission?

Ok I just finished snapping the pics and I tell you what this hat is so cool you should need a permit to wear it. I know I complained about the wait time and yes I thought it took a long time but my god having a hat come to me like this makes that almost go away. I wanted a hat that screamed 1940s and wanted him to copy the whippet from the Crosby ads and I think he did that with his own little twists that I wanted. ALl thoughts and comments appreciated. I want to know how this compares in looks to those classic old hats from that era. THE particulars are steel felt with black binding and ribbon. 2 1/2 inch brim

Is this the one you ordered on Feb 9th? I too ordered one on February 9th and I just received notification that it shipped. It's been 42 weeks for me. I can't wait to see it.

The colors are Dark Grey felt, 1-3/4" Black ribbon with Burgundy accent ribbon. Brim is 2-1/2" with an underwelt. The Crown is 4-3/4 at the front and 4-1/4 at the rear with a teardrop crease.
