Just picture Harley saying "Gimme some sugar, baby." to Count Orlock.
Nevermind...*sigh*

Were you one of the attendees?
I think the impact spun the car around. A left turn maybe but if Dean was going fast, you wouldn't have seen him until it was too late and smash! The car made a left turn in front of Dean's car...but of course Dean wasn't driving like Granny.
I think the image may be reversed in the photo(?).

I.e. he was going too fast to stop. From JD museum Fairmount,Indiana:
On September 30, 1955, James Byron Dean was driving his new 550 Porsche Spyder to Salinas, California, where he planned to enter it in a race. At 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of Routes 466 and 41 near Cholame, a 1950 Ford turned in front of the sports car and Dean was unable to avoid a collision with it.
Famous last words."He sees me..."
I could see that with the sun glinting off that metal body and all.....I want to say the other driver stated "the sun was in their eyes (due to the time of day) and they didn't see him."

Well, this conversation certainly has taken a creepy turn.
Would love to see a take on Harley! I've thought about doing this, myself.
I thought about Snow White or Cinderella, but I don't have enough time to sew the costume.
Maybe I'll get a "sassy" Rick Grimes. Saw that advertised recently.:eusa_doh:
