Thanks Everybody!! I woke up this morning and checked ebay, and I almost dropped my phone. I thought the hat would go for about $300 or so, but I was so shocked it went for more. I just know that the buyer will be thrilled with the hat. I can honestly say that I have NEVER handled felt that was that nice.

I just know that the buyer will be thrilled with the hat. I can honestly say that I have NEVER handled felt that was that nice.

Not mine either, but the way I see it its in great condition, and you couldn't get something like that from optimo even for that price. So if it fits why not.

Gripe/question: does anyone know what eBay's policy is re: the Buy It Now option disappearing at a given point during the auction? This just happened on one of my listings, and I've noticed it on other auctions as well; there's a BIN on something, then *poof* it's gone. I tried finding it in their policy section, but had no luck.

I fail to see how it's to their advantage to remove it, and I'm certain that their policies are all designed to benefit them.

To me, it seems that the closer bidding gets to a BIN, the more tempted a buyer would be to go ahead and use it.

I won this vintage brim trimmer yesterday. I can't believe I won it for less than $85 bucks shipped. Finally, my western conversions can be done in half the time. I'm still going to sand the edges though, for a nice smooth finish.
