Thank you, Stefan. The seller did not reply to my "who made it" question, but I will check when I get it.Great find, Max. These Harrods hats have some quality to them.

Love the liner.
Cool find, Max. I found a similar one recently (but did not buy). If I recall correctly Steve mentioned they were made by Tonak specifically for export to the south (and middle) American market.

It is refreshing for someone (had to be a European) to mean the whole continent when he says "American".Cool find, Max. I found a similar one recently (but did not buy). If I recall correctly Steve mentioned they were made by Tonak specifically for export to the south (and middle) American market.
You Americans all look alike to me I'll see if I can find the post (because I did take some shots of it and posted it).It is refreshing for someone (had to be a European) to mean the whole continent when he says "American".
Geographically, as you know, Mexico is in North America.
Here's my posting of the hat. I misremembered actually: the one I found was for the Spanish market, not the...ahem...American market.Do you remember when?
Thank you, Stefan! the markings on Steve's are a lot like mine. I am always awed by his site. WowHere's my posting of the hat. I misremembered actually: the one I found was for the Spanish market, not the...ahem...American market.

Steve has one on his website as well and has it dated as mid-sixties.

Hatatorium from @Miamibruno
Very cool Max! I've not seen a fedora (much less with a felted edge) from these folks. Not that I've seen that many hats from them in the wild. The ones I've seen out there were all westerns.

Thank you, JoeReally nice hat. I’m pretty sure I saw that one somewhere some months back. It was definitely the cav edge on an unusual brand that caught my eye. Nice addition to the vault Max
This one should arrive in the next couple days…. Thanks to the hot tip from Brent @deadlyhandsome

Thanks Brent. Looking forward to it’s arrivalI’m glad you got it, Joe. I think a little brushing and some steam will bring out a great hat.
