So am I! That heather texture, the color, and the price, were irresistible. I bought it before Graham Thompson answered my inquiry because I didn't want to risk losing it. I will post what he says.


That guy has several Optimos, but nothing that really appeals to me in my size.

It made me think that someday my family will be selling my hats for pennies on the dollar when that time comes.

This is waht Graham Thompson told me about this white-lined Optimo:

This is a very early optimo.. maybe year 2… as our hats have improved drastically since then, the quality you’ll notice isn’t anywhere near what we make today.. but still the early pieces are very rare and collectible.
Also the material and finishing will never be like our newer stuff.
