I watched the exchange between Scot F and Anubis with a smile I much prefer buying hats on FL over the bay cause the bay is like the old west and you can get killed just for looking sideways. I bought a Stetson panama on the bay from **** and it came with stains so I mentioned it and asked to return. All was good return agreed refund agreed. When I questioned why I should pay for return postage for a defective item things went south in a hurry. Refund came from Ebay because the seller said the hat was damaged by me and returned in substandard packaging (LIE!). Seller emailed me through ebay and cussed me out called me a M***er...,As-----,+. Said hat was damaged, well PO insurance would be $50 but lie and blame me and Ebay will pay for refund $100 and you get to keep hat. Come to find out seller is also "Hail fellow well met" member of FL I am still looking for him on the bay or here to sell the hat at which time I WILL call him out. Rant Over.

Oh, and if YOU recognize yourself I would keep quiet.

Just to be perfectly clear Dan bought a Stetson Stratoliner 150th Anniversary from me from the Classifieds around the time he apparently bought this Stetson Panama from another FL member on eBay. Our transaction was flawless & without problems or complaints. I would recommend & support Dan as an FL member & hat buyer any day.

Thanks Ken, actually the Ebay transaction was back in June(Not that I hold on to things!). By the way your Strat is doing good as well as the Penman I just received from Doug (wearing it as we speak,love it!). I really don't know why I troll the bay except force of habit. It has become such a crap shoot that I usually buy here or Amazon, unless it is a one of.

Last Ebay defeat was the Stetson Excellent Quality Sage Green that DRMAX picked I was looking but already had a panama coming from PHD and the Strat from Hurricane Jack, but I should have gone for it. But then the hat fund might have been too low for the Penman, DAMN THIS ADDICTION!!!

Just bought this dirty Caxton for $35 dollars. If I can clean it, I can have an exact copy of my recently-bought Caxton for very little. If not, no biggie.

Bought this one on a lark. I used to love that show, which is why I bought my first Optimo during a visit to my second home town, Chicago. If it weren't so darned cold, I'd live there.

I am curious as to the felt. What will I get for $9.99? The shape seems really nice. Maybe I'll look like Robert Stack. [emoji2]
