Real nice! From the Stetson retail store. I have a "St. Regis" from there. Is there a date stamp under the sweatband?

Those marks are feather things (barbs?) , brushed off . Seller's Pics . Reshaped now .

Floating amidst a sea of auctions for modern era Stetson was this heather felt. self ribboned Excellent Quality, apparently belonging to the father of seller. Interesting interpretation of the stamps and tags but the date is about right - late 1930s - 1940. More photos after it arrives.

Late 1950s is my best guess. The liner tip appears to be clear plastic, indicates 1953 or later and the size tag is round and I think Stetson switched to the squarish black size tags about 1960, those are generalizations. There are threads on how to date Stetsons.
