Yes it is a bit on the smaller side, I have to send the hat to TonyB and he will have to give this one a hop on the block to bring it up to 7 1/2 LO

This is a Mallory 15. Probably late 40's as it has the 1817 date and a cloth size tag. Dark brown with the Mallory " Duplex edge". Brim is 2 7/8ths.

I have the same opinion on feathers. Yuck. I only tolerate them on some of my hats (3 or 4 hats).
