Eastman D-1 jacket advice on sizing

I am looking for some advice on the D-1 jacket sizing and what people wear.

I currently have a B-3 in a 42 which I am selling as it's an amazing jacket but so bulky for everyday wear.

As the jacket is in a M and L etc rather than chest size, I was wondering what people have purchased.

Any help us appreciated.

A B3 would kill me that heavy here in Madrid haha I had one once here, not for long, I bought a Avirex ANJ 4 and only wore it twice, D1 is much lighter though

Have you tried the size calculator on their website? I have always found that to be pretty accurate.

Also, you can send an email to them. I am sure they can sort you out with actual measurements and a recommendation.

My best advice is to follow the sizing tips provided on HPA's website...

I have a 39.5" chest and went with a size medium with the largest measurements that HPA had in stock.

Eastmans have come back to me with the exact measurements so going to get my tape measure out. Going to have to sell my B-3 to fund it though. Thanks everyone so far for your comments.
