turns out that my aforementioned crush with a bf decided to tell me on the dancefloor friday nite that she has quite a crush on me...

Ah ha... good luck to you! I've been in that very position, and the rush of such a thing is... interesting, to say the least.

Let's hope your endeavor turns out well for you and in your favor. Mine... well, did not.

Indeed.

Half the fun of a crush is keeping it secret! But I have to say again, the ladies here are simply stunning. I'd like to meet evey one of the Loungers in person.

Gee, can you send some of your luck my way? It would be most appreciated. :)

In all seriousness, I am most happy for you. I really do hope it works out!

Err, to be honest I'm limited to stove-top and grill--I can't do anything inside an oven at all, although I know some great Hamburger Helper tricks and some ways to make MRE's actually edible... and of course, I have to have enough space to set up the laptop (which has my cookbook in its hard drive)...

"That good" in my case means "good enough that the ingredients go into the intended container rather than all over me and the kitchen"...

Better than me and most of my peers. My cooking is more of an artistic experiment in flavor with appearance and nutritional value usually being discarded in favor of, say, more bacon.

Funny, nobody pressed me for answers when I admitted to having several Lounger crushes...:( Slim, what've you got that I don't?! (Other than not having my "added insulation", which we'll just leave out of this discussion...) :p lol
I wondered but I forgot to post! Who who who?

Patrick, Patrick, Patrick... *shakes head* do you really think I'd give up my secrets that easily, son*? *raised eyebrow* Now some of the ladies here might have an easier time teasing a few out of me, but only in private and face-to-face...;) lol :D (Hey, if others can throw down the "coy" card, why can't I?)

If you hadn't of admitted it, I would have been blissfully unaware...never mind. You're still on the list, Diamondback, as you always make me smile!

Since we're talking about men cooking, who wants to taste my spaghetti sauce? I make it with lots of ground beef, lots of vegetables, lots of . . . we'll let us just say that finding the noodles can be a bit of a chore. ;)

And that's not all! I once made Marbled Tea Eggs, a process that can take up to two days (most of that being refrigerator time ), just to see if I could!

I could! ;)

I dated a chef once. It was glorious.

Me being both fat and very controlling lead to a lot of cooking in that romance....*sighs dreamily*
