Is that the earliest crest with the beaver holding up the rectangle (I'm not sure how else to refer to it)? That is an amazing band - a great piece of work!!

Or leaning on it because he drank too much "happy water"....
But that is a great question......I wondered when that beaver and rectangle first came out too........and for that matter...when was the first 3X designation for a Stetson hat?
For my part I am still looking at my stuff for more answers...... while my advertising collection on Stetson goes back to about 1880 or so, in my hat collection, my oldest 3X are only from about 1949-1950.
