#10, last hat. Stetson 3X, 2 5/8 bound brim. I've posted this hat before on Dating Stetson Crests thread. Has "VitaFelt Process" on sweatband below logo. I'm theorizing this is a mid to late 40's hat.

This 3X skinny ribbon showed up a couple weeks ago. 3 ½. It’s in fantastic condition and the felt takes a dry crease much better than I was expecting. I creased it from open crown to a couple different shapes dry on a fence post…my kind of western felt.

Stetson 3X Suede finish with self-felt band. Great hat, but it has some moth damage. 5 ½” open crown and 2 ½” raw edge brim. Very soft hand as expected, and the felt dry creases and holds its shape wonderfully. No label hiding behind the sweatband.

A nice Stetson 3X I got on eBay from Bob at a bargain a couple of months ago. I was the only bidder.

I just posted this '50s era 3X Stetson Western in the WHAYWT thread yesterday. I've had this one a while and posted it before. It's been cleaned up, reblocked, and converted, and I just reflanged the brim again on a #19 brim flange. In fact, I think this is the only 3X I have. This hat's had a rough and abused history and the felt is still solid. Definitely a testament to the 3X's toughness.

1950s 3X Beaver back-bow with overwelt edge.

I saw a hat with the exact same liner and the Stetson gold logo, did it have a numerical size with a whole number and fraction like 7 1/8 or just the fraction 1/8?

I do not know if this hat is legit 1950's because the sweatband is black, seems to be too good of a price??? It is listed on eBay, SMALL SIZE 6 7/8 VINTAGE 1950’S MEN’S BLACK FEDORA HAT BY STETSON under the seller jamiexmas. I was also looking at Biltmore Imperial Homburg hats, but I was hoping to find a good deal on a Stetson Royal Deluxe St. Regis in a brown tone, size 56.

Stetson 3X Beaver Quality Open Road. Size 7-1/4. 3” bound brim, 5” open crown. The liner is loose. It has an odd sun fade that gives it a two-tone look. Probably from having another hat stacked on it at an angle or sitting in an open box half way. At least it’s symmetrical.

1940's Stetson 3X with embroidered Last Drop liner. 3 1/2 inch brim, 5 1/2 inch open crown. Note that the sweatband was stamped twice in the front: once with "XXX" in larger letters and again with "XXX Stetson" in smaller letters. So it's not a 6X hat, Ha, Ha!
