That’s exciting. I’m curious to see how the cavalier compares to the color 8 Chromexcel. Would you consider posting some photos when it arrives?

Now that I'm doing a little more digging from your information 'color 8'. I'm very likely incorrect thinking I'm getting Pompeii red Cavalier. I think what I'm getting is what you have, Horween color 8 Chromexcel! Very excited. I assume waxy pull-up? Can your nail sink into the wax? Wonder if a little hair dryer can blend everything smooth again.

Mine is on the brighter side of the color 8 spectrum, which does make it look a bit more like the cavalier, perhaps. The first p613s I bought was a darker shade, which I actually preferred, but didn’t fit me as well. Fit beats color nuances though, so I went with this one. It’s a great color. Here’s a picture of the two side by side for reference:

It’s a pull-up leather but more oily than waxy. The brighter color doesn’t have as much pull-up effect as the darker color, almost as if it’s main color is the lighter hue that comes through on the pull-up of the darker leather.
