Here's a new one from Sansha. I have some of their other shoes, but not this particular model (I have the Capezio phantom which is the same idea.) :

Only about $30 too, which isn't bad...

Hi Michou, in continuation to our conversation in the "Purchases" thread regarding shoes:

I am so totally with you on the issue of wedges not being quite right, they've never suited me either they usually just make my feet look huge!

For forties outfits, I have few pairs of original shoes but prefer to wear modern reproductions as they are usually a heck of a lot more comfortable and I don't have to worry about rotting the soles in wet weather which is often a problem with vintage shoes.

By far my favourite shoe shop is Clarks, which I think you should be able to get online. My out and out favourite of theirs is Bombay Lights:

They are expensive but are beautifully made and the most comfortable heels that I've ever worn. Clarks do a huge range of mid height heels.

You could maybe look for some cute t-bars too as they would look gorgeous with all of you lovely skirts and sweaters.

Hope that provides a bit of inspiration!

That style was real popular when I sold shoes in the early 90s- Nine west made a lot- I'd try ebay

This is the style I was thinking of- the vamp doesn't scoop exactly the same, but it might be close enough. And I remember they were really comfy.

I dont know if anyones posted about these sites before (I did a search and only Ellie was mentioned once). They do some gorgeous vintage style shoes and vintage feel shoes. Not to everyones taste but a few of you ladies might be interested. I have three pairs of T.U.K shoes and if you order from them be warned.. they are VERY narrow.

I love TUK shoes! Some of them are so perfect for vintage outfits (I have 2 pairs...for now)! Can't comment on the sizes though as my foot is pretty average.

Please let us know which brand this is! They are beautiful.

Those are from Office. It's a UK company. Style name is "Dollie Day." The gray and peach are on sale for £30, and some sizes are already out, but there are 3 other colors (black, cream, and red) at £60. Oh gosh, I wish the gray were still available in size 6!! :(

They do lack the quality and the platform sole, and they are what some would call vegan (man made materials)
but they come in some real cool textures and colors, for that special outfit!
There are lots of other vintage- reminiscent shoes on clearance there right now as well.

I think so, too but, then, I'm new at this and my opinion isn't always spot on. I don't usually go for the color orange but these are calling my name for some reason!
(psst...found these at the 6pm.com website--they're Fancy by RSVP.)
