Probably shouldn't post after that last beautiful pair! But, this is what this poor man is wearing today. Tony Lama lizards.

And that's likely as fine a pair of Teju's as a man will see today, or most any day. Don't know about you Dd, but that colorway is one of my favorites in cowboy boots. Little darker/lighter, it works with anything. Somebody was paying attention when those skins were matched.

Thanks Bama! I do like the color and the skins are very nicely matched. The round toes and heels are getting a little close to slippers though! They are comfortable and the wife likes them, so I'm happy.

Understand. Got to have them in the mix. What a lot of boot wearers started with, though I didn't. Have several pair in the rotation though.
The pair I remember as my first real cowboy boots were Acme snip toe Golden Angus. I'm the kid on the left, wearing a blue shirt and cowboy boots. Photo taken in my beloved Oklahoma!

Thanks for that great pic, Dd. No pics but my experience was very similar as my first pair came from J C Penney when I was about the same age. I remember my mom asking me cowboy boots or lace ups? No brainer for me as my favorite uncle wore cowboy boots. Took some heat as a 3rd grader in an industrial town. Got over it. Doubt they did.

I guess I'm a boot collector if I buy boots that I know don't fit. I was going to bid on these, then decided not to, then panicked at the end and bought them for $41. Justin's Make from 1932.

Love those Bob! How far off are they?

I've been trying to stretch one pair that's a half size too small to fit me without much luck, and had to move another that was a half size too large.

Nice score Bob!!! Those are truly impressive. And yeah, it definitely makes you a collector. Don't worry, you're in good company.
