These Justin's were bought in the early 90s by my father. He gave the to me in 99. Dress boots only worn once in competition when my other pair of Justin's lost a heel. They have been resoled twice.

The result of my trip over to the Justin outlet store this morning.

Seems to be very hit or miss what they have available in each size. Also I was surprised how much the sizing varies between the different Justin brands.

I tried on loads, but this pair of Nocona boots fit me perfectly. I wore them the rest of the day and my feet love them too!

Nice boots. Love the contrast between the vamp and shaft. Know what you mean, their all Berkshire -Hathaway's now. Learned the hard way when I bought a pair of black Tony Lamas a few years ago to go with my brown ones, a couple years apart. Totally different boots.

Not what we typically see posted here but I thought if any of the ladies follow this thread, they might enjoy these. Found these for the lady of the house. Got them for her because, as she said, she works hard for my money. In some jurisdictions I would be arrested for theft for the ridiculous price I paid for these. These are American gator belly with a gator collar inlayed with dark brown suede and full gator overlays on the pulls. Boots were designed by Barbara Grimes of Gossamer Wings in Santa Fe. Leather jacket designer and maker for Travis Tritt, Randy Travis and others according to her website. They offer deerskin vests for men starting at $1800.00. The boots were built by Tres Outlaws.

Love the Lucchese lizards, especially the full skins instead of the patchwork often seen. Dress up or down in those as you please. Pretty sure that's Teju lizard.

O'Sully those are some good looking Justins. They make some durable boots, as you well know, and being from your dad makes them that much better.

David, classy looking ostrich Noconas and lizard Luccheses. I suspect that now you are in Texas, that your boot collection will continue to grow.

Bamaboots, Rastafari or not, those are some seriously good looking boots. The underslung heel and the way the toe has curled up on the end from walking are high marks of coolness in my world. I used to live down the street from a couple of Rastas, they were pretty nice guys, and aside from the hair, not what you would have expected them to be like, but I can't really imagine either of them wearing something like that.

Those El Reys are some really nice! Top of the line TL.

I like the Rasta boots as well, looked like a well made Mexican boot, just not my size and more than I would pay for a shelf boot. Like you, the few Rasta's I've met were super nice and with my head, I was just jealous of the hair.

Vintage Texas brand.
These are nearly identical to a pair of ACMEs I have that belonged to my dad back in the 50s. The only difference is the eagle inlay on his is red where these are turquoise. The only thing not cool about these is that they are too small.

Crazy. Love seeing these old boots, and that's factory stuff. Imagine the cost of having a boot made today with that kind of detail. Used to be common.
