Contrast Stitching Question

Hey fellas, what would you think about 'dark brown' stitching on a black jacket? I'm wondering if that would work and look good. fyi - the only thread options on this particular jacket are black or brown stitching. The brown is available in light, medium, or dark, but I'm only considering the dark brown as I'd want it subtle. I'm afraid to go light or even medium on black

My Rugged West Jacket has "Tobacco Brown" stitching on black leather and I think it looks really cool.

Here are some better pictures than I could take, but there are a bunch of mine in the Rugged West thread.

I think you'll really like the dark brown stitching.

What is light and medium black supposed to even look like... just different shades of gray?

Anyway if you're looking to bring out some minimal contrast, dark brown seems to be very subtle and a good choice. It may not even be noticed to begin with lol

Personally, I only like seeing high-contrast stitching on trucker jackets - on M/C jackets, they look odd and out of character.
