Hi everybody,

I did get a Californian goatskin not too long ago in NY and I would like to trade with a Buco horsehide (my dream jacket) horsehide, D-pocket.

I add some photos and details regarding mine. The jacket currently is with me in Germany.

For different reaosons but mainly cost, I never purchased a buco and I wonder if anybody wants to trade with my C.

Thanks for now and I wish you a great holiday everyone.

Linen, zippers look all original. Was estimated end of 30s.

It is a beauty, no doubt. However, the main zip appears to be a late 40s replacement. Love the design and quality of the jacket. Good luck with your trade.
Thank you very much!! Might also be that the jacket is an early 40s. Still 30/40s was the guess and therfore might be the answer to the talon it has on. It's just a guess...

That was my first thought. However, loo closely at the threat perforations. It appears to me that there was a lighter thread on the tread channels. If you look in the inner side of the zipper section, you can sometimes see the older zipper indentations. That is why I use the hand method of zipper installation. Since I am not an expert in the field, I do not use my machine for zipper repairs. The hand method allows you to slowly use the previous holes to re-install a zipper. As I see it, the jacket design looks late 30s with a "post-war" talon zipper.
