9.25 inches and I ordered a 9. They fit good. One finger was tight, so...... a hot water bath and wore them till dry no problem. Perfect fit now. I wore them this morning at 36 degrees F.

Thanks for the help. Ordered the black william gibson version in size 8 (my hand is 8.1 in diameter for anyone else who might have sizing questions). Also, is it ok to soak leather in hot water? I thought that damaged the leather. Finally, do you use any leather conditioner on it?

I didn't soak it hot water, but did get it wet enough to stretch it a little. Then wore them around until dry. No problem. Perfect fit.
