Found this on eBay earlier this week. Nice Aero Leathers “Experimental Test Sample” B-10. No idea on age but it’s practically brand new, had a nice £55 voucher to use on it too for some reason so got it for £225 posted.

I was almost about to pull the trigger on a Buzz Rough Wear I’d seen on sale…is the Aero periodic correct? Probably not, does it matter? Probably not. I just wanted something I can wear and not worry too much about.

The only thing I will say is I noticed with my Aero A-2 is that Aero seem to cut the fronts fairly short? The back is a good length but the front seems much shorter than even my Eastman A-2.

Anyway have a look! A nice warm and lightweight jacket which is good for a day like today 3-4c outside.

Nice find. Aero used to do their own B10s and B15s in house - from memory, they phased those out about 2009ish, I think because there just wasn't the same demand for textile jackets in those days. New at the time they were around £300; with inflation and rising prices everywhere, I'd expect they'd end up about £600 nowadays. I remember when they blew out the last handful of B15s at £100 / £150. I didn't go for one of them as at the time it was really a B10 I was after - regret that now I'm more of a B15 guy. Nice jackets for kicking about in, warmer than an A2 (though it's not kosher to say so among some enthusiasts nowadays, some of the USAAF boys back in 43 much preferred them over the leather A2 when using them for their original design-intent). As leather gets ore expensive, I expect we might start to see more interest in textile options like this.
