The getup I was given when I worked on the show in March. The jacket is dated 1921, and I think the pants are from pre-1910, they have that a small flair which I think was big in the 1900's. The waistcoat and shirt are most likely the same era.

Golden Era Fan, how did you actually come to be on the show? Casting call? My friends keep encouraging me to just loiter around the Boardwalk set thinking that the producers will just throw me in the background if they saw me!:p

It was by chance really. At the June 2012 jazz age lawn party I happened to meet a costumer from the show who gave my info to the casting director. The casting company itself has a website that posts what kind of background extras they're looking for. Here's the link, http://gwcnyc.com/casting.php

That is pretty neat! Gives me a reason to try and watch this fall to see a Lounger on the show! That and the lack of Gyp "Bad Copy of Joe Pesky" Rosseti also helps...

Really looking forward to the next season. I hope they move the plot better than last year. The focus on Gyp Rosetti felt like it dragged through a too short season.
