on the block,
I am sharing new photos of my hat that has taken bob jesse and i 5 months to design. Through countless e-mails, many discussions on brim width, crown height, yes or no to edge binding, yesterday morning this hat came to be.
When i got talking with Bob, i told him i'd like to get a hat with an open crown, a brim wide enough to give loads of shade, and be tough enough to bare all i put it through. This hat is ment for me to travel in, hike in, and keep the sun off my face when i'm out painting, an everyday hat. I sent Bob an image of an old western hat from 1890, and let him know i'd like a pencil roll with this hat. He sent me a photo of darwin in his hat thats brim flipped up on the side. I told him i loved the brim. Well through countless photos of several designs. Bob in the morning was working on the brim, and the brim did its own thing. Bob said "the hat did its own thing, i think the hat was saying to me,this is how i'm supposed to look. " Well i got the photos and Bob said "I know this is left field with the brim, but through our conversations on brim design and the pencil roll and then the flipped up side, this is what happened and i like it a lot".
Well he sent me the photos, and i almost died STUNNINGLY, I told Bob we need to name this hat. Because it is just so original. Its not a western, nor a fedora. Completely stunning design, and i can not wait to have this on my head, wearing it with pride.
Bob is an excellent person to talk to, and wonderful customer service. Bob, i want to say thank you for a stunning hat, i'm amazed with this design, and i know you had loads of fun making this hat. I told Bob "be creative thats all i ask, you know what i want in this hat." He did more then what i wanted, he went beyond.
Bob, i have more hats to come, i think next is my straw from you. You have officially become my hatter, and looK forward to our next adventure.
To all on the lounge, i'm happy to share a wonderful and beautiful design. Bob really put his heart into this one. Thank you very much Bob. I hope you all enjoy these photos, i will post more as they come, and when i recieve this stunning hat.
